Foldable Partitions

At RIVA Engineering, we have mastered the art of creating foldable partitions that are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. Our custom-designed electrically operated gates are a testament to our innovative approach to metalwork and design. These partitions are composed of multiple aluminum leaves, each meticulously crafted to interlock seamlessly, forming a continuous unit when closed. Upon activation, the partitions unfold, with each leaf gliding smoothly to tuck away into a concealed compartment, rendering them invisible to onlookers.

The largest foldable partitions we have engineered to date boast impressive dimensions, stretching up to 5 meters in height, with virtually no limit to their width. This feat was accomplished for the Haram Expansion Building, where the partitions serve both as ornamental walls and functional dividers in escalator areas, reaching up to 10 meters in width.

Safety and durability are at the core of our design. When closed, the leaves interconnect via a robust tongue and groove system, ensuring stability and rigidity. Despite their size, the partitions are engineered with a manual override capability, allowing for operation during power outages or emergencies.

Precision is paramount in our manufacturing process. Each leaf is carved from a single aluminum plate, ensuring the highest quality and structural integrity. The underlying framework and intricate mechanics are constructed from high-grade stainless steel, chosen for its longevity and resilience.

The Shamiyah project stands as a hallmark of our craftsmanship, with 184 individual units, encompassing 1,560 leaves across 15 distinct types, and a total of 2,750 square meters of ornate designs milled from solid aluminum. This project not only showcases our technical prowess but also our commitment to creating solutions that marry form with function.
